Bangladesh: what we have achieved

In Bangladesh, improving people’s livelihoods to cope with environmental emergencies and effects of climate change has been a priority. Progress has been made in producing the variety and quantity of fruit, vegetable and rice cultivation, despite the aftermath of the 2011 floods and water logging. Furthermore, 112 model farms have been established and they will spearhead good practice within their communities. However, our partner project monitoring has revealed that not all households are able to rely on food during the lean season, and our partners are working with communities to identify ways of improving this situation.
